The indoor displays at the 2009 German Federal Horticultural Exhibition are located in the Kitchen Garden.  There will be a total of 20 temporary exhibitions spread over an area of approx. 4,000 m².  Some of them will be themed, whilst others will introduce garden construction and landscaping companies from the individual Federal States.  There will also be demonstrations of the art of floristry.

In the exhibition halls there will be information stands manned by the German Confederation of Garden Designers (Zentralverband Gartenbau, ZVG) and the German National Garden Festival Society (Deutsche Bundesgartenschaugesellschaft, DBG) where visitors can find out about choosing and caring for plants and pest management as well as obtaining details of the current displays in the halls.
